In Policy Debate we've been designated as a Final Round qualifier to the Tournament of Champions held annually at the University of Kentucky.

7:00pm – 10:00pm – Registration for All Events – Radisson Lackawanna Station

All teams who are driving in on Saturday must register by phone by 9pm on Friday evening.  This phone registration will serve as your final chance to make changes.   More information, including contact numbers, will be provided closer to the tournament.  You must select the phone registration icon on Joy of Tournaments if you plan on registering with this method.  If you don’t indicate this on Joy of Tournaments we will assume you are registering in person.

**This method is not suggested for teams competing in debate events.  The tournament will not wait for you to arrive.  If you haven’t checked in by 7:30am on Saturday November 13th, you will forfeit Round 1.**

Saturday November 13th, 2010

6:30am – Pairings Release online for all debate events and available in the lobbies of all tournament hotel properties.

7:00am – Scranton High School Opens

7:00am-7:30am – Late Registration (see instructions above)

7:45am – Judges meeting for all debate events.  Judges will receive Round 1 ballots at this meeting

8:00am – Round 1 – All Debate Events

8:15am-8:45am – Speech Late Registration Check-In

9:00am – Opening Assembly

9:30am – Speech Round 1 / Congress Session 1

10:00am – Round 2 – All Debate Events

11:30am – Speech Round 2

11:45am – Lunch for all contestants in the cafeteria @ Scranton High School

1:00pm – Round 3 – All Debate Events

2:00pm – Speech Round 3 / Congress Session 2

3:45pm – Round 4 – All Debate Events

4:00pm – Speech Round 4

5:00pm – Dinner for all contestants in the cafeteria @ Scranton High School

6:45pm – Round 5 – All Debate Events

8:30pm – Directors/Coaches Reception @ Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel

Following the conclusion of Round 5 — We will make available Round 6 Pairings for Varsity Policy/LD and Elim Pairings for Public Forum & Novice Policy/LD online & at the Tournament Hotel Properties (All Judges are obligated for this debate)

7:45am – Round 6 Varsity Policy / LD, PF, Novice Quarterfinals (Speaker Award Ceremony immediately following the debate in the Auditorium)

8:30am – Congress Session 3

9:00am – Speech Round 5

10:45am – Octofinals Varsity Policy / LD, PF, Novice Semifinals

11:00 – Speech Semifinals

11:30pm – Lunch for all contestants in the cafeteria @ Scranton High School

12:15pm – Congress Super-session

1:00pm – Speech Finals

1:45pm – Quarterfinals Varsity Policy / LD, PF, Novice Policy Finals

3:00pm – Awards Ceremony

4:45pm – Semifinals Varsity Policy

7:45pm – Finals Varsity Policy
