Students will have the opportunity to learn how to give rhetorical speeches, present oral interpretations of literature, and debate philosophical and political issues. Through competition against students from other schools, the students will develop confidence as well as research and leadership skills that will help them for a lifetime. Most noteworthy, in applications for college admission and employment applications, the Speech and Debate experience attracts the attention of recruiters and management.
