About Me
Actually, I've mostly competed in Radio Broadcasting for the past two years (2009-2011). For my final year of Speech and Debate as a high schooler, I will be doing Novice Exempt. Speaking. :)

I've only done Duet Acting

I've only done Duet Acting (humorous) and Prose.  Found what I liked and stuck with it!

I was a team captain though and helped out with coaching of other interpretive and speaking events, so good at critiquing.  That's cool that you're branching out and doing both speech and debate.  I don't know much about debate (our school didn't have a debate team), but I'm the person everyone goes to when a paper needs proofread.  If you do OO and want another pair of eyes to look it over, send it my way :)

None at the moment. I'm

None at the moment. I'm looking into Original Oritory, PFD or Novice LD. Any advice? Or what events have you done?

Yakko is the best Animaniac.

Yakko is the best Animaniac.  Hands down, haha!

So what other events have you done?

I did it for fun. Actually

I did it for fun.

Actually before I started Freshmen year, a friend told me about it, and I liked the idea and that's how I started. (I probably would have done Forensics anyway, but my friend got me really excited for the season to start) Funny, because last year they made it a specialty event, so I just explored a bit in other events.

Now it's back though. :D

The things a bit on the down side is that it uses a lot of paper (10-15 different articles, 99% 2-3 pgs each) and the 10 second time window before you TV'ed (4:55-5:05). But if you can get by the timing it is a lot of fun.

Hey!  Actually, Illinois

Hey!

Actually, Illinois offers Radio too.  It's a pretty cool event.  Personally, I've never done it.  But I hear nothing but good things.  Are you doing Radio just b/c you think it's fun or b/c you are thinking of doing radio broadcasting professionally?
