League Information
Overview 

The New Jersey Forensic League's (NJFL) purpose is to get students interested in public speaking, to award those who show excellence in speech, and to instill fellowship. The league is also there to enhance students’ knowledge and skill in public speaker beyond what might be part of the curriculum; if students’ desire it. The league acknowledges that their speaking abilities and training might influence school curriculums.

Offered at the six National tournaments the league hosts: International Extemporaneous Speaking, Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking, Dramatic Interpretation, Humorous Interpretation, Duo Interpretation, Original Oratory

Offered all season long: Declamation, Poetry Reading, Prose Reading, Impromptu Speech, Improvisational Acting, Policy Debate, CX Debate, Lincoln Douglas Debate, Public Forum Debate
