League Information
Overview

Unlike the Georgia High School Association which works with ALL forms of high schools, the Georgia Independent School Association (GISA) only allows private, parochial, and independent schools into the organization. This selectiveness does work with the goal of the GISA which is to better the independent schools across the state by means of networking, professional growth, and enhancing the interscholastic needs of the independent member schools. The GISA is part of the Georgia Private Education Council and is also an associate of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). The GISA has a debate league which is divided into two divisions (AA and AAA).
